Key Responsibilities
- Conduct theoretical and practical sessions on HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure adherence to the approved curriculum and training schedule.
- Utilize modern teaching methods and training aids to enhance student engagement and understanding.
- Assist in updating the curriculum as per current industry standards.
- Develop lesson plans, assessments, and practical evaluation tools.
- Conduct periodic assessments to evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure all tools, equipment, and training materials are maintained in good working condition.
- Oversee safe workshop practices and enforce safety protocols.
- Identify equipment and material needs for training purposes.
- Mentor students in both technical and professional skills to prepare them for employment.
- Support career counseling and placement efforts in collaboration with the placement team.
- Maintain records of attendance, assessments, and student progress.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and curriculum reviews.
- Coordinate with other instructors to ensure consistency and quality in training delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, HVAC, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of industry experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, or service.
- Prior experience in teaching or technical training will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and safety standards.
