Instructor - HVAC

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct theoretical and practical sessions on HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure adherence to the approved curriculum and training schedule.
  • Utilize modern teaching methods and training aids to enhance student engagement and understanding.
  • Assist in updating the curriculum as per current industry standards.
  • Develop lesson plans, assessments, and practical evaluation tools.
  • Conduct periodic assessments to evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ensure all tools, equipment, and training materials are maintained in good working condition.
  • Oversee safe workshop practices and enforce safety protocols.
  • Identify equipment and material needs for training purposes.
  • Mentor students in both technical and professional skills to prepare them for employment.
  • Support career counseling and placement efforts in collaboration with the placement team.
  • Maintain records of attendance, assessments, and student progress.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and curriculum reviews.
  • Coordinate with other instructors to ensure consistency and quality in training delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, HVAC, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of industry experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, or service.
  • Prior experience in teaching or technical training will be preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and safety standards.
